Spring/ Summer 2015 Lookbook | LittleEllieMae

This is probably the most spontaneous lookbook I have ever done but as I had my morning run I couldn't believe how beautiful the flowers at the park were looking in the gorgeous sun. I've been waiting to do an outside lookbook for a while, after seeing the stunning Nicole from Sleek Chic's photos a few weeks ago, so this was the perfect opportunity to get some cool shots of my favourite Spring/ Summer clothes. I hope you enjoy!

The Coachella Summer Dress

This pretty dress is from H&M's latest Coachella collection which I am a huge fan of! I love the festival- inspired, floral printed pieces... This dress being one of my favourites!
It is a lovely dress that is versatile to wear day or night!
I've styled it here with my ZARA light wash denim jacket, my New Look shoes, pastel Accessorize bag and with my own handmade floral crown!

The Pastel Midi Skirt

I've featured this skirt on my blog before but I had to throw it in here again.
Spring is the PERFECT time for all things pastel. My sister said I looked like "a walking ice- cream". But I think that pastels really enhance every skin tone.
Here I am wearing my pastel pink midi skirt from Primark with a lilac cami from Matalan, New Look shoes, Primark sunglasses and Primark sun hat.
I just adore this outfit... I feel like some sort of ice cream fairy princess (is that a thing..?)

The Floral 50s Dress

This is one of my favourite dresses ever in the existence of dresses.
As you know, I am obsessed with all things retro and vintage so this 50s inspired dress is perfect for me!
Its from Lindy Bop and is so easy to wear with these New Look shoes. This dress also looks lovely with a pair of nude heels too for an evening look!

The Watercolour T-Shirt

This is my go-to Spring piece... I am constantly wearing this one to school! This Joules T-shirt is so effortless to throw on with a pair of laid back jeans. I just adore the watercolour painted- like image on the front of the t-shirt which is full of gorgeous bright colours!
I've paired it with my black H&M high waisted jeans and again my New Look shoes.

The Sun Dress

I love this pattern that they have in NEXT at the moment- I also have it in the top. I love patterned pieces like these as they can just be worn without needing accessories and still look fantastic! This dress is so comfy and so perfect to wear on a day- to- day basis! It also has cool racer back straps. Again I've paired it with my New Look shoes and I especially love to wear a dramatic, popping red lip with this outfit- I am wearing Burberry Kisses in Military Red.

I hope you liked this lookbook; its been my favourite to shoot so far!

BeautyCon London 2015 | LittleEllieMae

Becca text me a month of so ago purely saying 'BEAUTYCON. LONDON.' and I was instantly SO excited. I had watched people's videos and read blog posts about the BeautyCon events in America and now it was finally coming to England, I knew we had to go!

So on 23rd May, Becca and I had an hours sleep then left at midnight to get a coach from Cornwall to London, ready for BeautyCon London at the Olympia!

Trousers- New Look
Cami top- Primark
Shoes- H! By Henry Holland
Bag- H! By Henry Holland
Sunglasses- Primark
Lipstick- Kate Moss by Rimmel London in 107
The Olympia was filled with amazing balloons, beauty stalls, meet and greet areas, a grand stage and of course hoards of gorgeous fellow beauty-junkies!

We roamed the venue, checking out all of the stalls which included Liz Earle, Benefit and Crown Brushes to name a few. Although all of the stalls were packed with people, it was nice to just have a look and take everything in; I kept saying to Becca that I felt like I was dreaming, not only because I was operating on three hours sleep, but because it was very surreal for me, a young blogger from little ol' Plymouth in big town London surrounded by some of my greatest blogging influences- it was amazing.

We queued up to meet Tanner Zagarino and Teala Dunn; they were both incredibly sweet, despite security asking me to quickly move on, they both asked me how I was, gave me hugs and took photos with me. I was near the front of the queue and I walked past a hour or so later and they were still stood there meeting people- they must have been exhausted but they still treated everybody so nicely.

Next we met Fleur from FleurDeForce which I was incredibly excited for- I've been watching Fleur's videos and reading her blog for years now and she is such a huge inspiration for my blog, channel, and personal style! Of course, I knew she was a very pretty woman from seeing her videos and photos but I was blown away by her beauty when I saw her in real life- she was glowing and just gorgeous. As well as being so down to earth and lovely. I wanted to ask her all about her dogs because I'm kinda obsessed with them but apparently that's "lame"??? Anyway, we had a nice little chat and I was extremely happy with finally meeting Fleur!

I also met Suzie from Hello October and Emma Pickles who were also amazingly lovely (ok we see a trend here.. EVERYBODY WAS SO SO LOVELY ahh). They were both so gorgeous and their makeup (eyebrows in particular) was so on- point! It was so nice to chat to them, as if we were old friends- it really put me at ease.

We had been on the look out (in the least stalker-ish way) for Lucy and Lydia all day as Becca and I are huge fans of their YouTube channel. When we bumped into them they were just THE sweetest girls I have ever met. They were full of giggles, hugs and loveliness. We all chatted about fashion, BeautyCon and Disney. We also caught them again as we were leaving and they gave us huge hugs. I honestly can't say a bad thing about these girls, they were so down to earth and I just want to be their best friend please, thank you!

After eating a bag of chorizo flavoured crisps (...sorry Sam!) I spotted Sam Chapman from Pixiwoo and went over to say Hi! She was also very gracious and was so genuinely happy to see us! Sam (and Nic who was unfortunately unable to attend) are huge inspirations to me too, not only as fabulous bloggers/ Youtubers, but as fantastic makeup artists, entrepreneurs and mothers. Its so cool to meet people I look up to who are so successful- it has definitely made me more motivated to put more effort into my blog and channel, who knows- maybe I'll be like them some day.

Niomi Smart is one of my absolute style icons- I just adore everything she wears! It was so nice to bump into her... I just had to ask where her gorgeous playsuit is from! Again, she was so delightful to meet- such a sweet girl.

Look at my face in this photo... I was fangirling big time inside. Lily and Anna are both my absolute favourite YouTubers and bloggers- their content is so great. I am especially obsessed with their Beauty Chats and their vlogs (I totally just spotted myself in Lily's latest vlog of EveryDayMay too... WIN!). I was so excited (and nervous?!) to meet them and they were so humble and friendly. I also want to be their best friends too haha!

We also watched some terrific panels where my favourite bloggers talked about topics including beauty, blogging and general life experiences, sharing tips and helpful advice which really inspired me and as I said before, has truly motivated me to carry on with this blog as I would love to achieve half the success of these inspirational creators that I witnessed at BeautyCon.

I had the BEST time at BeautyCon London, especially being accompanied by my best friend, Becca, who never fails to make an experience enjoyable. It was such an awesome, special experience and I can't wait to attend the next one!

Did you attend BeautyCon London? What did you think? Let me know by commenting below or tweeting me @LittleEllieMae :)

Have a great day!

Disclaimer- Thanks to Becca for letting me use all of her photos as I was too lazy to carry my heavy camera around London.

My Shower Routine | LittleEllieMae

Showers are one of my favourite things.

Ok, that sounds a bit weird... But I think there are few things that make me so content as being squeaky clean, smelling lovely with soft, fresh skin.

Today I'm going to share some of my favourite products that I use for my shower!

Ted Baker Body Wash

This body wash from Ted Baker smells amazing! The smell lingers subtly on my skin for a good while after use. I also love the cute butterfly packaging!

Faith In Nature- Lavender & Geranium Shampoo and Conditioner*

I'm very fussy when it comes to shampoo and conditioners as I find it difficult to find products that don't make my hair greasy the day after and that don't damage my dyed hair. Faith In Nature uses all natural ingredients- so I am at ease that there are no nasties to damage my hair! I use the lavender and geranium products because I absolutely ADORE the smell! It lasts all day too- I've had people walk past and ask me what the wonderful smell is. Funnily enough, the calming effects of the lavender have been useful during my exam period (yes, I totally kept sniffing my hair throughout my car theory test... oh well, I passed!)
Although I have found that the products don't make it particularly easy to brush my hair after a shower (there have been some tangles in it), once its brushed it is an absolute dream to work with as its silky and in a fantastic condition. I'd definitely like to try the rest of their range.

Philosophy Purity Face Cleanser
I've talked about this face cleanser countless times now- Its my go- to face product. Its so gentle to my skin and is super handy as its not only a cleanser but also removes makeup, tones and adds moisture to the skin all at once! A little goes a LONG way! Two bottles have lasted me nearly 9 months, I think! Although I have been breaking out a bit lately- I think its purely down to hormones and stress- this product is keeping on top of it.

Okay, this isn't exactly a shower product but I had to chuck it in here; I picked this Dead Sea Elements spa mask up at TK Maxx in the lead up to exams as I knew that my skin would become bad. Its really nice for a relaxing evening and it definitely helps to calm those raging stress spots!

Sweet Cecilys Rose Body Butter*

Another fantastic smelling product (Are we spotting a trend here.?!). As part of our #PlymouthBlogMeet goody bags, Sweet Cecilys kindly gave us a pot of their rose body butter each to try. It really is great- it leaves my skin super soft but doesn't feel sticky. I also love the packaging!!

So that is a few of my favourite shower products!

What do you like to use in the shower?
Also, for a bit of fun, what is your favourite song to belt out in the shower? I sing so loudly in the shower... I'm not washing, I'm performing, hahaha! My favourite songs at the moment are from Top Hat, the musical which I went to see at the Theatre Royal Plymouth this week!
