Summer Sales Haul!

Yesterday I took a trip to Exeter with my friends.
Its that time of year that you either love or loathe- summer sales time. Personally I absolutely love finding some bargains in the sale, and whilst I was shopping in Exeter (which has a bunch more better shops than Plymouth!) I found quite a few!

I took some photos to show you the clothes that I brought 'in action'.

I think this has to be my favourite new outfit. I luckily found this gorgeous red textured skater skirt in H&M for only £3! Also I picked up this black and white striped, off-the-shoulder crop top (not in the sale, but still super inexpensive) for £3.99. I really love this look; It reminds me of French fashion for some reason. Maybe I should be wearing a beret instead of my H&M bowler hat (£7.99). My shoes are from H! by Henry Holland (£35.00).

This outfit is so girly and cute but still very on-trend and fashionable. I bought this amazing 'New York pink'  coloured cropped t-shirt with pastel pink french words on the front for only £5.99 in ZARA. I love how this crop top isn't too short and its a bit oversized for a more laid-back look. You may recognise this skirt... I did buy the white spotty version of this a few weeks ago from Primark but this one is pastel pink with flowers on the skirt and it was reduced to £5 from £12! Amazing. Its my favourite colour and I think it looks great with the t-shirt and my Truffle London shoes from TK Maxx (£16.99) and white lace socks from Primark too (£1.50).

I was actually going to buy this crop top/ bralette from New Look a little while ago but decided not to (for some unknown reason). But yesterday I saw it on sale for just £4 and had to buy it! I love wearing crop tops like these when the weather is super hot! I really like the colour of this top with the cute floral print. I've paired it with my white Broderie anglaise shorts from Matalan (£16.00) and my white sandals from New Look (£19.99).

Okay so this item wasn't actually in the sale but at such a cheap price I couldn't resist. This butterfly t-shirt from Primark was only £3! Here I am wearing it with my Topshop skater skirt (£12.99) and again my Truffle shoes and Primark socks. Seeing as I'm starting Sixth Form in September, I won't be wearing uniform anymore so I am starting to get together some outfits which will be school appropriate. I think this is a really sweet, casual look but still smart and presentable enough for school.

So that's it for now! Which of these looks do you like the best? And have you got any amazing bargains in the summer sale at all? Let me know by commenting below or tweeting me @LittleEllieMae :)

Have a great day!

  1. I love that red skirt! I haven't had any sale bargains recently, but I got a lovely long backless red dress for my Leavers' Ball for a grand total of £6 in a charity shop, and a strapless sequinned deep red one for £8 in another :D
